Mike called us on 11/27/11 to say Chanti is in fact bred to our gorgeous stud, Painted Moneymaker and thanks to her ground work being started when he bought her she is now being ridden AND being taught to pack in the hills! "We feel so blessed to have her, she is such a good horse. As a mom with a daughter who loves horses, I prayed she would find a horse as nice as Willow so I wouldn't have to worry about her all the time. Ashley rode her bareback last week and thought that was fun. A few months ago she rode her without reins using only her legs. Right now, her and her trainer are working on lead changes and she is doing real good! She has a lesson this afternoon. Great weather for riding!"

"Got some recent pictures of Dollar (yesterday) and wanted you to see how she has come a long way. We are starting her under saddle at present time. She is soooo like a puppy and follows you around. Had to nip a little biting in the bud not too long ago. Anyway she is a sweetie. She shares her hay with another black mare quarter horse . Actually now gets along with the other horses. Thought you might like these. Take care."

"Jessica found Peanut sunning and decided to go rub her down. She just loved it! She started whinnying! Hobbs (our cat) actually jumped on her rear and she didn't even move! I couldn't believe it! We rubbed her for a long time. When we got up to go in she put her head up as if to say Are you done already! Too cute. We think she is sooooooooooo sweet. I hope you enjoyed the pics and flicks!"

" Trixie is back! We took her out yesterday and rode all over for almost the whole day. She is wonderful! She went into the lake and swam. She was the only horse that crossed this old rickety bridge. I didn't know if I even wanted to go over it. I can't thank you enough for her. I'll get you some pictures soon"

"I have only had a few opportunities to ride Fox so far. The weather here has turned bitter cold and the wind never ends. So the horses have had a nice break. We have been getting along very nicely. He fits in with our other horses nicely. It took a little bit for them to get used to another horse in the group but everybody is settled down and getting along very well."
